Cuisine
Located in the center of Hyogo Prefecture,
Arima allows you to enjoy the region's abundant bounty, from seafood to mountain produce
and even Kobe beef.
Kobe Beef
“Kobe beef" refers to a designation given to a specific type of wagyu beef that meets registered criteria set by Kobe Beef Marketing & Distribution Promotion Association. It comes from a particular breed of Japanese wagyu beef - Tajima-gyu, a strain of wagyu cattle that meets strict standards to earn the title of Kobe beef.
Sake
Nadagogo is one of Japan's leading sake-producing areas, blessed with a unique combination of natural bounty: pure, mineral-rich water from Mt. Rokko, the finest rice varieties, and the expertise of generations of brewers. The sake produced here is known for its rich, yet clean flavor, which pairs beautifully with Japanese cuisine. Japan's "traditional sake brewing" has been registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
